UPDATE: Engaging Maintenance

Engaging has been scheduled for maintenance on Monday, July 24 from 5PM (ET) and lasting through of Tue July 25 5PM. Engaging will be unavailable during the outage so please plan accordingly.

As with all scheduled maintenance , a reservation has been placed on the cluster, this means you will need to request a runtime in your job submission that does not exceed the beginning of the reservation (4am July 25). For example:

srun –pty –c 2 –mem=1G –time=3-12:00 matlab

or in your batch submit script:

#SBATCH –time=3-12:00

In both the srun and submit script example the request is for a runtime of 3 days, 12 hours.

It is a best practice to always request time for job, even if there is no maintenance. If you have any questions or concerns please be sure to email us at stshelp@mit.edu
