Webinar: Combining Optimization with Machine Learning for Better Decisions
Wednesday, May 31
11:00am – 12:00pm EST
Event Details
NOTE: There are 2 time slots for this webinar

For those already familiar with machine learning, this webinar will share some insights on how to better leverage the output of those techniques to improve overall decision-making. For those familiar with optimization, this webinar provides an introduction on how machine learning can improve inputs to and decisions from your optimization models.

Specifically, this webinar will:

introduce the use of predictive analytics within Python
use example predictions as inputs into an optimization model to generate superior decision recommendations
then transform the resulting prototype into a ready-to-use application using the Opalytics platform
We’ll illustrate our example with Python implementations of the statistical model and the optimization model.

There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar. Presenting this webinar are Dr. Daniel Espinoza, Senior Developer at Gurobi Optimization and Peter Cacioppi, Chief Scientist at Opalytics, Inc.

This webinar will be presented twice. Click the links below for their respective registration pages and to see the times in your local time-zone:

Wednesday, May 31 at 8am PDT (GMT -8)
Thursday, June 1 at 3pm CEST (GMT +2)
