We've reached the end of another semester together. The last day of Fall class is this Wednesday, December 11. Here are a few things you'll want to be aware of as we close out the semester, and also be sure to check out the STS End-of-Term Checklist to review final Canvas details
End-of-Term Subject Evaluations
Subject evaluation is an Institute-wide initiative to solicit student feedback on their classes. This feedback helps instructors modify and improve their course for the future and allows students to make informed decision when selecting classes. The evaluation period closes on Monday, December 16--consider asking your faculty if they would like to send a reminder to the students. Faculty can pull past reports and view current responses in real-time here.
Final Exams
The Fall 2024 Final Exam Period is Monday, December 16 - Friday, December 20. If your faculty are holding an exam, review the Final Exam Schedule and contact Sloan Education Services with any issues. Details on the regulations regarding end-of-term assignments and exams can be found here.
Final Grades
Faculty may ask for your help in entering grades. Check the Online Grade Submission website to make sure you have access to all the classes you need and email SES if any are missing. Learn how to export a final grade CSV file from Canvas to upload to the OGS. Please remember that, while staff and TAs can enter grades, the faculty must submit them.
