Dr. Andy Plump brings more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. His expertise spans across a number of disease areas with emphasis in cardiovascular, metabolism and neuroscience. He is a true translational physician-scientist, with deep knowledge in biomedical research, experimental medicine, early development, genomics and biomarkers. Most recently at Sanofi, Dr. Plump served as Senior Vice President, Research & Translational Medicine, Deputy to the President R&D, based in Paris. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Cardiovascular Research Head at Merck, where he had direct responsibility for preclinical development and research teams, and a leadership role in the end-to-end activities of the Merck cardiovascular portfolio.

Seats for Dr. Plump’s presentation are limited, and boxed lunches will be available. There will also be an opportunity for a small group of students to attend a private lunch with Dr. Plump immediately following the presentation. Join us for a special private luncheon with Dr. Andy Plump, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Takeda, immediately following his iLead presentation on February 23. The luncheon will be held from 1:15-2:15 p.m. and will provide students with an opportunity to converse with Dr. Plump on a variety of topics in an informal setting.
