Event Details
Dr. Andy Plump brings more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. His expertise spans across a number of disease areas with emphasis in cardiovascular, metabolism and neuroscience. He is a true translational physician-scientist, with deep knowledge in biomedical research, experimental medicine, early development, genomics and biomarkers. Most recently at Sanofi, Dr. Plump served as Senior Vice President, Research & Translational Medicine, Deputy to the President R&D, based in Paris. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Cardiovascular Research Head at Merck, where he had direct responsibility for preclinical development and research teams, and a leadership role in the end-to-end activities of the Merck cardiovascular portfolio.

Seats for Dr. Plump’s presentation are limited, and boxed lunches will be available. There will also be an opportunity for a small group of students to attend a private lunch with Dr. Plump immediately following the presentation. To be considered for this opportunity, please RSVP through Campus Groups by February 20. Selected students will be notified two business days in advance of the event.

Join us for a special private luncheon with Dr. Andy Plump, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Takeda, immediately following his iLead presentation on February 23. The luncheon will be held from 1:15-2:15 p.m. and will provide students with an opportunity to converse with Dr. Plump on a variety of topics in an informal setting.
