Have you ever wondered how renewable energy projects and electric transmission actually come to life?

Join us for a panel discussion with two Sloan alumni, co-hosted by Infrastructure Club and Sloan Energy & Climate Club.

Sam Johnson (MBA '20) manages the Origination and Development Operations Team at Longroad Energy. Longroad is a developer, owner, operator of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects that has developed 6.5 gigawatts of projects across the US. Prior to Sloan, Sam spent five years working in energy trading at Genscape, which is now part of the Wood MacKenzie family

Monica Harnoto Kabel (LGO '20) is a Commercial Strategy Manager at National Grid Ventures, focused on developing competitive electric transmission opportunities in the US. National Grid Ventures is an affiliate of National Grid, focused on developing, owning, operating, and investing in large-scale infrastructure. Prior to her current role, Monica was an offshore wind Bid Manager at RWE, a US Corporate Strategy Director at National Grid, and held roles within product management and recruiting at Bloom Energy.
