COL Dan Kearney works at the US Army's XVIII Airborne Corps as the Director of PROJECT RIDGWAY, the Corps' effort to educate, train, and acquire the tools for becoming an AI Ready formation in the Army. He is the Future Operations planner and lead agent for all matters in direct support to the commander.

During this fireside chat, COL Kearney will discuss how Army units identify and source the technology that will keep them competitive globally in pursuit of U.S. National security objectives. He may also speak about specific initiatives within defense innovation.

Director of Future Operations, XVIII Airborne Corps

COL Kearney was born an Army brat and calls Georgia home. He attended North Georgia College and State University, and commissioned in August 2002 as a Second Lieutenant, earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

His most recent three positions were serving as the Operations Officer for the 82nd Airborne Division consisting of 18,000 Paratroopers and as the Army’s National Security Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy before serving as the Director of Future Operations and PROJECT RIDGWAY for XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC.

LTC Kearney holds a graduate degree in National Security and Strategy from the Naval War College and was a National Security Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston, MA.
