MIT Sloan’s Dean’s DEI Awards are a recognition of current MIT Sloan students who have served as champions of initiatives, activities, or efforts that live out MIT's values by advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion at MIT Sloan and MIT. The MIT Sloan Dean DEI Award is meant to provide a democratic way to support and facilitate the MIT Sloan community by acknowledging the DEI work of our MIT Sloan students. This award honors students who have served as change agents and made a tangible impact on the university and/or local community, promoting equity and inclusion from large initiatives to local efforts. This award will recognize undergraduate or graduate students who have shown their commitment to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion by:

• Raising awareness of DEI issues at MIT Sloan, or
• Demonstrating leadership on DEI issues, or
•Working with members of the MIT Sloan community on DEI issues, or
• Advocating for marginalized groups on campus, or
• Advancing scholarship on DEI issues
