This is an MIT Sloan-grown initiative that is designed to support the necessary changes in work climate in culture highlighted in the IBIS report, Quality of Life surveys, and ongoing discussions among our student, staff, and faculty communities. O+I is segmented into four (4) sessions that invite participants to discuss how to create cultural change utilizing research frameworks, best practices, and their own experiences.

All sessions for this cohort will be run via Zoom on the following dates (times are ET):

  • Friday, June 16, 10:30am-12pm
  • Friday, June 23, 10:30am-12pm
  • Friday, June 30, 10:30am-12pm
  • Friday, July 7, 10:30am-12pm

Please be sure that you can attend all four sessions before signing up.

  • The sessions materials are interdependent and the shared experiences of the participant group are paramount to the overall experience of the O+I course.
  • You will not receive credit for the course if you do not attend your sessions and/or work with your facilitators to make up sessions that you miss for emergency reasons.

MIT and MIT Sloan are committed to providing an environment that is accessible to individuals with disabilities. This includes access to participation in the O+I course. If you need a disability-related accommodation to attend O+I or have questions about accommodations, please contact us via email at your earliest convenience (aaashe@mit.edu & arjarvis@mit.edu).
