The MIT Sloan Wine Club is a student community dedicated to promoting and expanding its members' knowledge of wine through enjoyable, educational experiences. We strive to examine the culture and geography of various wine regions, study the history and process of winemaking, as well as understand marketing and operations in the wine industry. We also aim to provide ample opportunity to develop a more sophisticated wine palate through fun, relaxed tasting experiences.
Members of the MIT Sloan Wine Club can realize the following benefits: 1) Knowledge of wine and the wine industry, including practical skills and vocabulary 2) Understanding of various cultures and geographies 3) Interaction with members of the Sloan community who share a common interest in wine 4) An evolved wine palate through educational tastings 5) Exposure to the various aspects and careers of the wine industry
