MIT Analytics Speaker Series - Healthcare Startup Panel

For its last event of the semester, the MIT Analytics Speaker Series is glad to welcome three great startups that use artificial intelligence to revolutionize healthcare. Our speakers will show how various types of data (numerical data, voice recordings, and images) can be harnessed using machine and deep learning to help doctors and improve patients’ lives. Each startup will present a technical case study of their work in the healthcare industry, from data, to models, to decisions. Lunch will be provided.

Emerging Frontiers in Oncology Summit

This event is for top-tier investors, executives and PI’s, however, a limited set of tickets are being released for graduate students. Alternatively, students have the opportunity to volunteer at the start of the event (2:30-6:30) and attend the networking session for free. Lunch with Charlie Choi ’92 ME, CEO of Axia Women’s Health and former VP at DaVita/Cardinal Health

Charlie Choi is an alum interested in connecting with and mentoring your entrepreneurs or students generally interested in intrapreneurship within organizations in the space of healthcare investment/delivery. He is currently the CEO of Axia Women’s Health, a regionally-based network of women’s health clinics, group practices and labs. Previously, he was a VP at DaVita, managing a $1.5B P&L for their dialysis business and at Cardinal Health where he managing the hospital supply business. The LEAPS Project is advancing the mission of the MIT NEWDIGS consortium through a new collaborative systems approach to the planning, generation, and use of evidence across R&D and healthcare delivery. A model system for Rheumatoid Arthritis will be piloted in Massachusetts (2020 launch), and will inform related efforts in other diseases and geographies.
