Stephen Beatty is KPMGÔÇÖs Head of Global Infrastructure for the Americas region and is based in Canada. In addition to his responsibility for the Americas region, he advises governments and private sector clients in both Island economies and in India.
With over 25 years experience working with KPMG, Stephen is a well recognized expert in public infrastructure projects ÔÇô advising both public and private sector clients across every stage of their projects and/or programs. In particular, he has advised extensively in privatization strategy, transportation planning, PPP policy development and project financing. His experience includes numerous projects in roads, airports, water, wastewater, healthcare and utilities and spans across five continents.
Steve has over 20 yearsÔÇÖ experience with the firm and is well recognized as an expert in public infrastructure projects. Steve has been involved in numerous negotiations on infrastructure projects, and has been instrumental to his clients in delivering large infrastructure projects. Steve has led many major infrastructure transactions and has advised both public and private sector clients extensively in privatization strategy, transportation planning, PPP policy development and project financing. He has assisted public sector clients in project scoping, process design, process execution, and negotiation with private developers. For private sector clients, his assistance has included business strategies, financing approaches, and preparation of bids related to highway and other infrastructure projects.
